I was planning on walking in after seeing the $10 special sign, but the door was locked—a common thing for all the psychics I attempted to see. I called the number and asked if I could go in for the $10 special, but the psychic told me it was only for Sundays and asked me some other questions to try to get me to go in that day and pay more. Once Sunday rolled around, I called again to confirm, and the psychic initially was confused because she didn’t realize it was actually Sunday which I found funny. When I arrived, I rang the button on the door and waited outside, awkwardly wondering if people walking by noticed. It was interesting when the psychic came out from the door next to the actual space. I’m assuming she lives either next door or above the building. We sat in front of the window where people walking outside could see us inside. She asked to see my hand but didn’t specify which one.

Thoughts:

This was a reading on myself and my past. It was incredibly short, probably a minute. $10 for maybe 2 minutes max of reading my palm is so interesting. I wonder how often psychics get clients, though. I was very surprised when she simply looked at my palm. She didn’t need to touch it or take a closer look. Definitely very general information was said about me that could be said about most people. She again tried to get me to do a deeper reading, saying that there’s only so much she can see for this reading. The day after I visited, I passed again and she was sitting in front, waving for me to go in. That act has definitely happened to a lot of people who walk by psychics, but I am curious to know if she recognized it was me.
